COVID 19
I treat one patient at a time. Focusing on a tranquil, safe, and clean environment for my patients. You will notice the aroma of our own special Covid blend of Antiviral, and Antibacterial essential oils diffusing in the treatment room. We take temperatures, O2 levels, and require a Covid questionnaire prior to each treatment. Masks are required in the office, both in the spacious waiting room as well as in the treatment room.
FIRST VISIT
I ask my patients to fill out an online health history form prior to their first treatment. I then spend the first 1/2 hour talking about your life story and health history. As I learned from my former career as a documentary filmmaker, I firmly believe that telling your story is the first step to healing. A detailed account of past health history combined with a review of all the body’s systems help me uncover the imbalances going on in my patient’s body as well as possible root causes. Other diagnostic tools are tongue diagnosis and pulse taking. An acupuncture treatment is included in your first visit, followed by a clear plan be laid out for our specific goals. Follow up visits run between 45mins - hour. Note that acute issues may be resolved in a few treatments but chronic issues usually take some time. Treatments are cumulative. To make a lasting change with chronic issues, it requires more consistent treatments over time.
Please wear comfortable, loose clothing, and make sure to have eaten a little something before coming to treatment.
INSURANCE:
We are In-Network with Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Horizon Blue Cross, Cigna and Aetna. We accept other insurances as an out-of-network provider including United Healthcare, and can provide you with a bill to submit to your insurance. For those of you who do not have coverage we offer packages, as well as senior, student and military discounts.
